It further discusses how both children and mothers can recover from this form of domestic violence.Drawing on interviews with children and mothers who have experienced coercive control-based domestic violence, this groundbreaking book sheds light on children's perspectives of coercive control and the many different ways it harms them. Emma Katz argues that the opportunities for children andmothers to resist it occur in everyday life, not just in dramatic incidents of violence, and it is perpetrators who must be held accountable for their impacts on children.
