The device has a built-in GPS module, which makes it possible to record the course of the route, the time in which a given section was covered and the speed at which the vehicle was moving. The recorded information is synchronised with the video recording, which makes it possible to document when, where and at what speed the vehicle equipped with the recorder was moving.

The BP 3.0 has a 140-degree wide-angle lens, allowing you to capture virtually the entire view in front of the vehicle. The built-in 2 mega pixel CMOS sensor is responsible for high quality and detailed images. The device records in Full HD standard and has 4 modes of video resolution: 1920x1080(30fps) / 1280x720(60fps) / 1280x720(30fps) / 640x480(30fps). The user is provided with a 2.7" HD TFT LCD display, which shows the recorded material in real time. It can also be used to review archived recordings.

The recorder has a loop recording function and the possibility of setting the file length in the range of 1, 3 or 5 minutes. Thanks to this, when the memory card runs out of free space the device will automatically delete the oldest recorded files and replace them with the current one. To prevent the loss of an important part of the recording, the SOS function is available, which protects the file from automatic deletion. A file saved in SOS mode can be deleted by the user while editing the material on a computer. Additionally, the device is equipped with an overload sensor, which also protects recordings from deletion during a collision or crash. Thanks to the car park monitoring function, it is possible to record images while the car is parked. A minimum illumination of 1 LUX is required for proper operation of the device.

BP 3.0 has a motion detection function, thanks to which the recorder starts recording only when there is a moving object in front of the lens of the recorder. This function can also be used to turn the recorder on. In addition, there is an option to automatically start the camera when the ignition is switched on, provided the power cable is connected. It is also possible to start manually using the button on the housing. After switching the recorder to camera mode, you can take pictures with a resolution of 12M / 8M / 5M / 3M / 2M / 1.2M / VGA.

The recorder has a built-in microphone and speaker, which allows you to record not only video but also sound while the device is operating. The micro SD card slot on the side of the housing supports up to 64 GB of storage capacity. The device is powered via a micro USB port with the supplied car charger. On the casing there is also a mini HDMI socket for sending a high-quality audio-video signal to compatible external devices.
