That’s thanks to the cardioid characteristic — it picks up sound only in the front of the microphone. Additional clarity points are added through the included pop filter, an external panel of mesh that blocks the “explosive” consonants such as “p” and “b”. We also added an anti-shock mount that helps isolate the microphone from the vibrations carried through the desk whenever you slap it in anger.

Our designers deliberately placed the mute button at the bottom of the microphone, so you won’t accidentally scratch or brush against the mic and startle your audience. Besides, it’s the place you intuitively reach for in an emergency (rather than the top of the mic) — we tested it ourselves.
